I uninstalled that disc install of MW, and tried to get that work using just the free MW warzone downloads, but it still wasn't working. So I rebought the digital version of MW, and after installed all the updates it worked. Not sure why it wanted the full version of MW, but I thought you didn't need it to play just the free MW warzone update. For example, some players who install Modern Warfare III from a physical disk may first see the Modern Warfare II icon and name listed until Call of Duty HQ has fully updated after a Day One patch to unlock Modern Warfare III. This is due to production lead times during ongoing Call of Duty HQ development. I have a different sort of problem. Clean the disc that you can't get working: Remove any dirt or prints with a soft and clean microfiber cloth. Insert the clean disc. If the disc still doesn't work, insert a different disc. If other discs don't work, there is an issue with the disc drive. Only use clean PS5 and PS4 game discs, Blu-ray discs, or DVDs.
